There have been some people that have said Black Swan was one of the most vile, repulsive, stupid movies that they have ever seen.
I personally think it was one of the greatest wildlife documentaries on swans and the New York Ballet Company that I have ever seen. It was very original and very informative. I learned so much from this movie that I thought I oughta spread some of the knowledge around.
Things I Learned from Black Swan
- Ballet is a contact sport
- If a man calls you his “little princess,” IT AIN’T THE FIRST TIME HE’S CALLED A GIRL THAT, HONEY!
- Mothers get upset when you don’t eat the food they provide for you
- Don’t steal your co-workers items, especially a nail file
- NIGHT CLUBS ARE FUN!
- TAXI’S ARE FUN!
- TOM & JERRY ARE FUN!
- Ridding your room of childish toys is needed as one grows up
- Girls from San Fransisco move fast
- Men from Europe move faster
- Manicures aren’t a luxury, they’re a neccesity
See, Black Swan is more of an educational film than it is an arthouse one. And if you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself a favor and Redbox it or Target-purchase-of-the-week it.
